October 2006— The Islands Book has been selling
volumes! Scores of copies were sold before books even arrived
at port! Now, all books are in stock and shipping!
A book-signing is slated to occur at the Books Inc. store in Alameda.
Both James and myself will be on-hand to sign copies and discuss
how the Islands Book came to be.
The Islands
Book can now be found in a growing number of bookstores around
the Bay, and the reception at bookstores and at conservation organizations
has been great! Thanks to all who have provided feedback and encouragement!

August 2006 — The Islands of
San Francisco Bay has arrived! Printing of the first 3000
copies
commenced in early August, and 15 advanced copies arrived in California
via Fedex on Thursday the 23rd of
August.
Preorders are now being accepted at a reduced price, and
orders will be shipped once received at the Port of Oakland. Shipping
is expected to begin (after receipt at the Port) in the first week
of October.
Soon on The Islands Site, additional products will be offered
in conjunction with the reduced price book.
